Summary
This position is responsible for planning directing coordinating general supervision budgeting and managing the housekeeping janitorial laundry maintenance security and grounds functions within a multi-care level community It is also responsible for compliance with Life Safety Codes and Federal State and Local regulations governing these facilities
,- Bachelor s Degree B S in Engineering or Facilities Management preferred
- Coordinates updates processes oversees preventive maintenance needs attends to repairs building improvements Manages contracts with outside vendors workers maintains records contracts work orders budgets Functions Fire Life Safety Director assigns trains educates staff residents Facility Emergency Plan conducts periodic fire drills Maintains Life Safety Systems arranges testing Coordinates oversees new renovation projects selects bid proposals contract services completion Ensures quality adherence project specifications Manages waste recycling programs inventory parts supplies internet TV hookups phone system Access Control etc Provides oversight Landscaping Department fosters aesthetics maintains clean safe grounds Community Oversees departmental budget performance foresees discrepancies tight record-keeping policies procedures Performs all other related duties assigned
