    Key Responsibilities:

    This role involves performing high-level actuarial analysis to support decision-making in pricing and reserving. Here's how you can fulfill the responsibilities outlined:

    Actuarial Analysis and Key Driver Identification:

    Conduct in-depth actuarial analysis to understand key drivers of results in pricing and reserving.

    Utilize statistical and mathematical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and risk factors affecting profitability.

    Present findings in a clear and concise manner to support decision-making processes.

    Pricing Strategy Development:

    Develop and maintain pricing models to assist in determining pricing strategies.

    Conduct rate reviews, file rates when necessary, and estimate reserves accurately.

    Prepare valuation reports and presentations to communicate pricing strategies effectively.

    Candidate Qualifications:

    Qualified or Pursuing Actuary qualification from CAS with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance sector.

    Location:

    This position is based in Chicago. Candidates must reside in Chicago. This is a hybrid opportunity (2 days in office, 3 days from home).
