    Since 1952, Light of Life Rescue Mission has been a safe refuge for homeless and hurting people in the Pittsburgh area.

    We currently seek a full-time Case Manager for the Women & Children's Longterm Program. This person will walk closely alongside clients in guiding them through a four-phase recovery program that combines clinical and spiritual elements. Successful people in this role tend to be persuasive problem-solvers who are skilled in building relationships and inspiring others.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    1. Providing case management and advocacy for clients, working as a liaison between the client and other organizations involved in client care.
    2. Tracking clients' care plan progress through one-on-one discussions and using our online client management system, MissionTracker.
    3. Facilitating groups and/or classes.
    4. Networking with related service providers to access needed services for clients and ensuring delivery.
    5. Providing input and support into Care Team decisions.
    6. Making decisions about proposed activities in accordance with Light of Life principles and the best practices for recovery.

    Due to the interface with the clients, all jobs at Light of Life require employees to:

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree required in social work, counseling, psychology, human services, or related field, Master's degree preferred
    • Knowledge from formal and experiential training in drug and alcohol recovery and mental illness
    • 2-4 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • HMIS experience and knowledge preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
