- 5+ years of Motorsports experience with a focus on mechanical vehicle preparation, car development, setup, and event execution; 10 years preferred
- Experience working with GT3 race cars - Porsche, Lamborghini, and Ferrari a plus
- A leader that possesses outstanding technical knowledge, racing experience and excellent people skills
- Ability to clearly communicate with mechanics, engineers, management, and other supporting departments on car builds
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, a high sense of urgency and ability to follow and execute on policies and procedures
- Enjoys working in a team environment with a focus on continuous improvement and achieving goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Able to perform all physical requirements of position
- Ability to provide own tools as necessary
- Endurance racing experience; preferred
- Work closely with car chief in the shop and while out on the road at race events
- Identify opportunities for improvement to increase car performance, reliability, and crew efficiency
- Create a plan of action and execute on improvements
- Provide high level of vehicle service and preparation leading up to and post events
- Clear understanding of technical specifications, event procedures and pit lane rules, familiarity of the rule book
- Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on a variety of race, performance, and street vehicles
- Meet deadlines for race car preparation, while producing quality product
- Manage and produce worklist and car preparation information between events
- Assist with set up and tear down at race events
- Professionally represent the team and sponsors on and off track
- Provide a superior client experience to partners and guests by answering questions during shop, garage, and pit tours
- Follow Company policies & procedures in making all necessary repairs
- Provide support for other team members as needed
- All other duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends
- May be required to work long hours
- Travel required for race events, approximately 30%
