    Description

    Funders App is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our North Miami Beach office team as a Client Relationship Manager, specializing in providing outstanding client support for customer accounts across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional relationship building skills, superior phone etiquette, and the talent to effectively manage merchant accounts while maintaining positive relationships with our clients. This role requires proficiency in all forms of communications with clients. As a Client Relationship Manager, you'll prioritize creating positive relationships with merchants to help build the customer base. Additionally, you'll efficiently tackle prospect inquiries in a well-organized manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include proficiently managing client expectations using a CRM to track project statuses, performing account servicing using various online tools and computer programs, and diffusing challenging situations over the phone. To perform this role well, you must possess strong technological skills and display exceptional negotiation abilities.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and support needs, including delinquent files.
    2. Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communications from prospects and merchants, addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and providing necessary assistance.
    3. Utilize superior phone etiquette and communication skills to diffuse tense situations with frustrated customers, ensuring a positive resolution and maintaining customer satisfaction.
    4. Demonstrate above-average technological skills to navigate various software platforms, CRM systems, and merchant account management tools efficiently.
    5. Exhibit exceptional negotiation skills to renegotiate terms, collect outstanding balances, and secure payment arrangements with delinquent merchant accounts.
    6. Utilize project management abilities to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, oversee large volumes of data and manage delinquent accounts with attention to detail and accuracy.
    7. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, underwriting, and finance to address merchant needs, resolve issues, and streamline processes.
    8. Demonstrate active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills to understand merchant concerns, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective solutions.
    9. Maintain accurate records of all interactions with merchants, including notes, correspondence, and account updates, in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    10. See projects through to completion, ensuring timely resolution of merchant inquiries, account issues, banking logins, and payment processing needs.

    Requirements:

    1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
    2. Proven experience in customer relationship management, preferably in the financial services industry or merchant cash advance sector.
    3. Strong relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and trust with merchants.
    4. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
    5. Proficiency in overcoming challenging situations and resolving conflicts diplomatically.
    6. Above-average technological skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate new software systems and tools.
    7. Exceptional negotiation abilities with a track record of successfully securing payment arrangements and resolving account issues.
    8. Soft skills including active listening, empathy, collaboration, and self-motivation.
    9. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
    10. Strong project management abilities with the capacity to tackle large volumes of data and delinquent accounts effectively.
