Overview:
The Purchasing Part Time Associate will support the purchasing team in various administrative tasks related to the purchasing department.
Responsibilities include placing special request orders, setting up batches in GP, tracking shipments, canceling non-inventory orders, and helping obtain proof of deliveries.
This role provides a foundational understanding of purchasing operations within a business setting, while developing skills in attention to detail, organization, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONPreferred education requirement is a high school diplomaOTHER QUALIFICATIONSAttention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks. Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Proven ability to multi-task.
Excellent written/verbal skills.
Excellent attention to detailHours:
Through end of August $15-$15:50/hr Monday - 8 am – 4 pm with 1 hour lunchTuesday – 8 am – 2:30 pm with a 30 minute lunchThursday – 8 am – 4 pm with 1 hour lunch
