Job Description:
Performs duties and tasks related to clinic scheduling. Operates communication systems, such as telephone and switchboard. Answers incoming calls, greets callers, provides information, transfers calls, and/or takes messages as necessary. Performs clerical duties as needed.
Duties include answering telephones, scheduling surgeries/procedures/diagnostic imaging testing/lab draws, verifying insurance, order entry if qualified/certified, compiling medical charts, filing, and office machine operation.

Required:
High School diploma
Preferred:
Medical Terminology
Graduated from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
Typing Skills
Experience with computers
Experience answering multiple phone lines
Previous health care experience
