    Job Description: Research Analyst

    The Research Analyst role involves designing, developing, and documenting processes to monitor and measure business performance. This staff member will collect and maintain performance metrics and recommend process improvements. They will also provide technical assistance in contract examination by analyzing data on subject matter. Staff will contribute to contract deliverables and presentations using database applications and analytical tools.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with management to define and improve standards, processes, and procedures.
    • Maintain updated documentation of business processes and policies.
    • Prepare and provide performance-related presentations and reports.
    • Create and develop initiatives to improve performance and productivity.
    • Provide accurate and appropriate interpretation of data, applying knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data.
    • Develop methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data products.
    • Work with management and/or customers to develop and understand product specifications.
    • Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and management.
    • Communicate results effectively to management and/or customers.
    • Deliver data products in report/presentation format, or verbally, to management and/or customer specifications and timelines.
    • Identify system or process problems and engage the team in problem solving.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a US citizen.
    • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering fields (required).
    • Industrial Engineering or Operations Research degree (desired).
    • 3-5 years relevant experience in operations research beyond entry level (required).
    • Quality management experience (desired).
