Job description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for a travel position in a school setting, starting in January through the end of the school year.
This role encompasses a diverse K-12 caseload and offers the opportunity to work in a scenic location along the Naugatuck River, approximately 30 minutes north of Derby and near New Haven, CT.
Qualified candidates will have experience working with pediatric populations and be comfortable supporting students across the full K-12 spectrum.This travel assignment is ideal for SLPs who enjoy engaging with school-aged children and want to contribute to a dynamic educational environment while experiencing a new community.
Key Responsibilities IncludeProviding direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify student needs and progress
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and compliance with school policies
Delivering services in compliance with state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications
SLP licensure and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services from early childhood through high school
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
Ability to manage a full-time caseload and work independently
