- Prepare monthly financial forecasts
- Supervise accountants including reviewing work performed and additions to the sub-ledger (fixed assets)
- Assist with month/year-end closings
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, key financial reports
- Research and resolve variances
- Assist in annual budgeting process
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with some experience in public accounting preferred
- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
- Ability to manage a large volume of complex data
- Team oriented and collaborative approach.
- Ability to coach, develop, and mentor a team
- Excellent attention to detail, with ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Strong problem-solving skills, taking initiative in identifying problems and producing practical solutions
