- Plans and executes work orders for production parts
- Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary including but not limited to: eye and hearing protection, safety shoes, lab coats, gloves, dust masks and respirators.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years of machinist experience
- 5+ years of CNC equipment experience
- Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a U.S. person or protected individual within the meaning of ITAR. - Must have thorough knowledge of operation and function of vertical mills, engine lathes, grinders, jigs, fixtures and tool grinding and CNC lathes and tooling
- Requires attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate the manual and CNC equipment
- Working knowledge of ERP systems as it pertains to work orders, inventory & labor keeping
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and web-browser
- Ability to manage time and prioritize responsibilities
- Able to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion
- Must be highly motivated, self-starter and work as a team player
- Must have high levels of attention to detail and quality, be able to multitask and stay organized
- Must demonstrate the ability to act professionally
- Must be able to occasionally move about in production areas as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
