    Description
    Safety

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

    Transportation
    • Coordinate and dispatch all bulk agronomy products, including liquid/dry fertilizers and anhydrous ammonia to company drivers and private contractors from suppliers to NEW Coop locations
    • Coordinate and negotiate rates of hired private vendors hauling agronomy products.
    • Develop and forecast a plan to meet logistics needs for peak of agronomy seasons.
    • Oversee the daily routes and activities of NEW Cooperative semis and trailers.
    Rolling Stock
    • Oversee transportation of track mobiles, pay loaders, maintenance equipment, and power packs to meet needs of grain, maintenance, and agronomy departments.
    • Track daily movements of semis to help maximize use of equipment across the company.
    Administration
    • Direct and advise bulk agronomy employees at NEW Coop locations of products moved.
    • Track yearly agronomy freight incentive program for company drivers.
    Accounting
    • Assist Transportation Manager along with accounting department to develop truck profit and loss statement.
    • Help with tracking semi odometer readings for quarterly IFTA reporting.
    • Assist with tracking and managing freight costs for products hauled to LLCs.
    • Oversee accounts payables of vendors that deliver agronomy products directly to the fields from NEW locations.
    • Assist with setting up new private vendors that are interested in hauling for NEW Cooperative as part of initiating the new relationship.
    Other
    • Set the various area and department manager alerts in telematics software to help improve drivers' safe habits per handbook guidelines (such as speed alerts, seatbelt alerts, and harsh events).
    • Help with ordering new and maintaining telematics equipment for the fleet.
    • Compile data and generate reports from telematics software to present to managers to help increase efficiency of NEW's equipment.
    Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Must have a high level of computer skills and Excel knowledge.
    • Must have previous truck driving and/or dispatch experience.
    • Must be able to track transportation of products.
    • Ability to think ahead when making decisions and take proactive measures.
    • Possesses problem solving capability and understands the operational processes.
    • Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Remain flexible with the seasonal time commitments and potential extended hours to ensure smooth operations.
    • Ability to manage and direct employees remotely.
    • Think creatively to solve a variety of challenges.
    • Understands software used to track equipment.
    • Must be knowledgeable about the operational process at location level.
