If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for Idaho National Laboratory Business Management organization is seeking a Manager, Lab Operations Acquisitions. This position works a 9/80 schedule, onsite in our offices in Idaho Falls with every Friday off Responsibilities Include:

    • You will be fully accountable to lead and manage, without appreciable direction, service acquisitions needed to support site-wide customers.
    • The scope encompasses acquisition activities of several Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Directorates for a typical total combined spend in excess of $300M.
    • You are responsible for management of staff and their execution of acquisitions in support of accomplishing the Laboratory mission.
    • This includes a human capital management element to promote professional development, rotational development opportunities, mentoring, coaching, succession planning, addressing risks of any single points-of-failure, and relationship development to support the business of INL. Ensure appropriate administration of acquisition actions from pre-award through delivery, payment, and closeout.
    • Must demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of subcontracting methods within a federal government or Management & Operating (M&O) environment, acquisition policy, regulations and procedures related to acquisition and exploit such knowledge to optimize delivery of efficient and effective acquisitions to the customer.
    Qualifications:Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in business discipline plus 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree plus 3 years relevant experience is required.
    • A minimum of 5 years of contract administration experience working within a Department of Energy (DOE) Management & Operating (M&O) procurement environment is required.
    • Experience in a supervisory or oversight role where responsibilities included customer interfaces, subject matter expertise in government acquisition, strategic acquisition planning, and providing guidance to acquisition staff is required.
    • Must have experience in managing the creation and administration of a diverse mix of contract types of wide-ranging complexity and uniqueness.

    • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

    • MR0200 Salary Grade 220 ($110,316 - $181,956)
