    Our client is creating hydrogen electrolyzersIn this role, you will work with other scientists and engineers to benchmark the performance ofour water electrolyzer stacks and develop innovative solutions for stack efficiencyimprovement.

    You will join a motivated team that will design, construct, validate, and deploymodular hydrogen production technology.
    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESClosely monitor the operation of multiple water electrolyzer stacks and benchmark stack performance and reliability.
    Collect, analyze, and interpret the electrochemical testing data of the electrolyzer stacks.
    Communicate pilot plant operation results within the company in the form of summaries, presentations, and reports.

    Lead the research on critical challenges that may affect electrolyzer stack performance and reliability, such as reverse current and shunt current.

    Develop mitigation strategies against such issues.

    Troubleshoot stack failures on component, single cell, and system level by utilizing the analysis of mechanical stress, heat and mass transfer, chemical compatibility, and electrochemical testing.

    Collaborate with other scientists and engineers to develop innovative solutions for improving stack performance and reducing costs.
    Coordinate pilot plant testing schedule. Maintain test plans, operation run plans and run summaries.
    Prior Experience and Professional QualitiesM.S. with 3 years of industrial electrolyzer experience, or Ph.
    D.

    in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable field of studyDeep understanding of electrochemistry theories and electrochemical testing methods such as CV, LSV, EIS3+ years of hands-on experience with electrochemical devices (electrolyzers, fuel cells, flow batteries, etc), preferably on an industrial scale.

    Experience with electrolyzer or fuel cell stack systems is highly preferred.
    Strong safety mindset.
