Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric patients under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans to help children develop essential skills for daily living, play, and learning.
• Collaborate with the therapy team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual perception, coordination, and independence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment sessions, and goals achieved.
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans, progress updates, and home-based activities.
• Participate in team meetings, case management, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in [State]
