    Closing Date: 05/01/2024Hours: TBD PURPOSE The purpose of this position is to support the administration of district and/or state assessments to target the academic needs of students and determine program effectiveness.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES This position will proctor/facilitate district and/or state assessments to students in grades K-12. The work is temporary during various testing windows throughout the school year.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES Proctor/Assess students in one-on-one, small group, or whole group settings as designated by the building or district testing coordinator; Follow standardized testing protocols; Follow directions from testing coordinators and building administrators; Work positively and professionally with students and staff; Maintain integrity and security of assessments; Maintain student, school, and parental confidentiality; Effectively communicate and solve problems; Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with District policies, procedures, and safety practices.

    QUALIFICATIONS Minimum GED or High School diploma Possess competence, empathy, and understanding with regard to the needs and cultures of students; Ability to follow written and oral instructions and observe district policies and procedures; Operate classroom instructional equipment, standard office equipment, and a personal computer using programs appropriate to assigned duties; ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL ABILITIES Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and on the telephone; Sufficient visual acuity, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to comprehend written work instructions and review, evaluate and prepare a variety of written documents; Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to operate standard office equipment and a personal computer; Sufficient personal mobility, flexibility, and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to lift up to 20 pounds, to sit and work at a keyboard for an extended period of time, and work in an office environment.

    EVALUATION Yearly by supervisor TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT To be determined by calendar year. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.
