Job summary
This is a combination position for warehouse shipping and receiving tasks as well as tracking company inventory. Performs all types of receiving inspection and shipping tasks including special needs items.Performs intermediate tasks in warehouse organization and management including bin location creation deletion assigning standard location to a part research item for stock adjustments.
Other responsibilities include running basic reports answering email from internal customers regarding receipts and shipments.
Education high school GED required experience FLSA Non Exempt Senior Level Service Production or Support Worker role well experienced in all facets of area of responsibility within the function preferred 3+ years of experience in area of responsibility in warehouse manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Knowledge skills abilities thorough knowledge advanced skills attained via greater years of experience towards solving complex issues problems modification departmental functional processes resolving issues application effectively accomplished all tasks fork lift certified ability operate machinery power tools HAZMAT certification preferred knowledge inventory systems methods proficient Excel Microsoft Word navigate SAP understand work procedures acting problem solving suggesting improvements able speak write read English bilingual preferred working conditions environment special requirements housekeeping duties maintenance clean work area keeping standards productivity accuracy safe professional manner adhering regulatory requirements OSHA EPA State Federal regulations flexible hours shifts if required lift pounds subject random drug alcohol testing FAA regulations stand long periods time general commitment employees values complies department norms policies directives procedures Lean P3E processes concepts daily activities continuous improvement processes procedures honors protects confidential proprietary documents information satisfies work schedule requirements.
