- Assisting with repairs on electrical equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry, and plumbing.
- Assisting with repairs and overhaul of pumps and heat exchangers; removing and replacing coils; replacing valves and assisting as directed with equipment on steam systems or boilers.
- Assisting with the operation and helping to maintain boilers; observing various meter and gauges and taking appropriate action for safe operation.
- Conducting scheduled maintenance checks; prioritizing repair and maintenance work to minimize disruption of hospital operations.
- Completing duties as assigned from hospital work order system and completing assigned PM (Preventative Maintenance) work within timeframes designated.

Job DescriptionGeotemps, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I for a client based in the Elko area. The Maintenance Technician I will be working at a hospital based facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be willing to learn, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and foster positive relationships with all members of the work environment. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Education/Experience: Certificate from college or technical school, or 1+ years related experience preferred, but not required.
Compensation: 20-30$/hour DOE.
