    We are seeking a qualified and motivated individual for the role of a Machine Operator in the Metro Detroit area. This role involves operating and maintaining machinery used in the feeding and orientation of parts for further processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Operate feeder bowl machinery to ensure the efficient feeding and orientation of parts according to production requirements.
    2. Monitor machine operations, including feeding rates, part orientation, and machine performance, to maintain optimal efficiency and quality standards.
    3. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks on feeder bowl equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.
    4. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues as they arise during production, escalating more complex issues to maintenance staff as needed.
    5. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    6. Maintain accurate production records, including part counts, downtime logs, and quality inspection data.
    7. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and identify areas for process improvement.
    8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including removing debris and waste materials to prevent contamination or safety hazards.

    Requirements:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machine operation or related field is a plus.
    2. Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience operating feeder bowl machinery.
    3. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and identify mechanical issues.
    4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions and quality standards.
    5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    6. Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
    7. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy materials as needed.
    8. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
