We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Director to join our team at the Durham Sports Commission. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing projects, supporting major sporting events, and providing exceptional internal support. Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact projects from start to finish which includes event bid documents facility development research advertising and the execution of DSC-owned and operated events.
- Play a central role in managing the grants and incentives program through coordinating committee meetings evaluating program success and overseeing budgets that support local sports growth.
- Help bring land retain major regional national sporting events to Durham by supporting recruitment efforts executing exciting community-driven events.
- Lead grow volunteer program with recruiting training managing event volunteers who power successful sporting events.
- The salary range is $45 000 - $50 000 commensurate with experience.
