    The Dining Services Team at Givens Estates, a premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, is hiring a Customer Service Specialist for our state-of-the-art dining venue, Market & Craft. This is a meaningful and vital position where you positively impact the lives of our residents, visitors, and fellow team members every day. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 4pm-8pm and 11am-7:30pm on weekends. And NO LATE NIGHTS means you will have more quality time to maintain a balanced life.

Our dynamic dining team welcomes candidates who are open to cross-training If you're hired as a PRN dishwasher, server, or cook, there's potential to explore and work in multiple areas based on your skills and interests. Embrace the opportunity to diversify your experience and contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our dining services.

    What you'll do:

    • Organize and set up dining areas for service
    • Keep the dining room clean
    • Reset the dining room after service
    • Assist in carryout meals as necessary
    • Provide excellent meal service to residents and their guests
    • Handle and operate equipment in the assigned area

    Experience is not required. We make this job fun and a team effort when serving our high-quality food to residents and guests. If it's your first job or you're a seasoned pro, we'll happily show you the ropes in a supportive and inclusive environment.

    Compensation: $17 - $18.50 per hour based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package

It's kind of a long story, but at our core, we're a senior housing organization with a lot of heart and committed to providing housing to seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds across WNC. We already have four communities (two life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.
