    Description
    MAU is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer at our client in Greenville, SC.

    As a

    Process Quality Engineer,

    you will establish internal processes that safely ensure the production of high-quality products that meet compliance and project requirements.

    This is a long-term contract assignment.

    Shift Information:

    1st shift, Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM


    Required Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;

    ORHigh school diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing3+ years of experience in Production Process and Equipment

    Strong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to influence others and lead small teams and initiatives of moderate scope and impactAbility to coordinate several projects simultaneouslyAnalytical problem-solving skillsComprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in own part of the functionStrong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical spaceStrong aptitude to work hands-on with equipment


    Preferred Requirements:
    CNC grinding experience


    Essential Functions:
    Drive continuous improvement across the product lines by owning project timelines, improving product quality, and resolving technical/process issuesLead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, and cost savings goals within schedule and budgetSupport CNC Machining Cells including troubleshooting, improving equipment reliability, process rigor, tooling, and minor programming needs as neededManage projects and continuous improvement efforts in accordance with plant metricsLead and drive qualifications as neededEnsure all engineering designs and technical data meet customer CTQs and compliance requirementsCreate and improve technical work instructions for manufacturing processesMaintain and improve process documentation and enforce in assigned areas to ensure consistent qualityImplement, maintain, and continuously improve 5S methodology in assigned areas, drive culture changeSupport NPI/Repair through providing technical support around processes, quality, and programsLead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methodsMentor others in area of expertiseDevelop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizationsCommunicate across the function in area of expertisePerform other tasks as required
