Description
In this role you will be performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties related to clinical management of practice and patient care.
Provides safe, efficient, quality direct patient nursing care in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians.
Under the direct supervision of the designated clinical staff member, the incumbent will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population, while maintaining high standards of care, and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life threatening emergencies.
Work collaboration with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to ensure clinical standards are maintained.Salary Range:
$34.24 -$74.18/hourly
Qualifications Required:
Possess active license issued by the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners with Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal certification.
3+ years LVN experience required
Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed.
Ability to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to the physician.
Knowledge of symptomatology of common and or life threatening medical problems.
Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with the physicians, staff, and all health providers.
Knowledge of all safety requirements when handling biohazardous specimens or contaminated instruments.
Verbal skills to effectively convey sensitive information in a courteous manner in person or on the telephone.
