The Audit Principal is responsible for leading and managing audit processes for NFP organizations, Government entities, and other clients.
The Audit Principal will be the primary point of contact for all audits and will provide guidance and direction to staff members as necessary.
Serve as key point of contact for all regional engagements reporting directly to the managing partnerPlan, organize, direct, and review professional-level audit activities.
Coordinate and supervise audit staff, as well as manage resources and delegation.Conduct pre-engagement audit planning activities, including risk assessment, audit strategy negotiations, and budgeting of resources.
Perform audits and provide oversight of external auditors.
Provide technical guidance and assistance to staff on complex technical accounting and auditing matters.
Ensure all audit activities are in compliance with professional standards and applicable laws.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in the NFP and Government sectors.
