- Evaluate and qualify new supplier materials for use in the facility
- Develop and maintain positive, long lasting relationships with vendors
- Proactively address problems in the areas of manufacturing to ensure issues do not persist
- Conduct internal audits and proactively make changes to fix any problems that arise
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives throughout the facility in the areas of manufacturing
- Perform root cause analysis and correction action to ensure issues do not persist
- Develop and recommend solutions in the areas of manufacturing and quality
- Maintain the highest standards of quality for supplier materials
- 1+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma and Kaizen principles
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Knowledge of quality systems including SAP and CAD programs
- Experience maintaining relationships
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 principles
