    Duration: 3 to 4 Months

    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, 1st Shift

    Location: Manhattan, NY (HYBRID; 3 days in-office per week)

    Salary Range: $30 to $35 per hour

    Position Overview:

    Our leading Insurance client is looking for a HR Administrator with 2+ years of experience in Human Resources to support their HR team in various administrative and operational tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in HR and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This role will provide valuable exposure to all aspects of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HRIS management. Please note: Workday experience is required for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
    • Support new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation sessions, and assisting with employee orientation and training.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents and presentations, and handling inquiries from employees and managers.
    • Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment processing, employee communications, and resolving benefits-related issues.
    • Support employee relations efforts by responding to employee inquiries, escalating issues as needed, and maintaining open communication with employees and managers.
    • Assist with HR compliance initiatives, including ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.
    • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the HR Manager or HR Director.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to various HR functions.
    • Workday HRIS/HCM experience is required.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic HR environment.
