    Description
    Job Purpose

    We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Data Architect Intern to join our team during the summer season. The intern will have the chance to gain practical experience in various aspects of data operations, such as integrating systems, data governance, data structures, data models, data definitions, data lakes, and associated tools.

    Key Job Elements

    • Assist in reviewing design and architecture, conducting gap analysis, and evaluating integration implementations
    • Help assess toolsets, documenting their strengths and weaknesses
    • Support with data loading, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling
    • Take part in defining business requirements, documenting system functionality, and business processes
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Application Developers, IT Leads, IT Dev Ops, IT Architects, and IT Support Analysts
    • Contribute to the establishment of data governance policies and procedures
    Education / Training

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    Qualifications and Experience

    • Fundamental knowledge of IT/OT infrastructure
    • Familiarity with data staging, reporting concepts, and principles
    • Understanding of database protocols, cloud architecture, and technologies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Ongoing studies or experience in data science would be advantageous
