Required skills/Experience:
Strong Data Evaluation and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of the

mortgage domain is essential , with a strong preference for expertise in Loss Mitigation.

Strong understanding of SQL, Data Structures and Advanced SQL concepts including Analytics Functions, Data warehouse, Data Marts, OLTP, OLAP, Dimensional Model.

Proficiency in SQL is crucial, with a minimum skill level of 6 out of 10.

Additional details:

We are in search of a proficient and experienced Contractor Data Analyst to join our team for project-based engagements.

In this role, you will be tasked with reverse engineering the existing downstream data consumption from multiple SQL Server databases, documenting mappings, and establishing data lineage (creating source-to-target mappings - STTM).

The Analyst will collaborate with Business/MIS teams to understand current code and document it. The same STTM will aid the Analyst in facilitating our migration to a new common data platform.
The SQL expertise of all collaborators cannot be presumed. It is essential for the Analyst to be respectful of this and collaborate with them effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in data analysis, expertise in statistical methods, and the capability to effectively convey intricate findings to stakeholders.
