    The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our current services and technologies.

    Role: Senior Java Lead (Hands-on)
    12+ years of IT
    Hybrid at Atlanta, GA | Sandy Springs, GA

    Roles/Responsibilities:
    Contribute to the Agile Sprint board stories/tickets by doing analysis, design, development, review, deployment.
    Perform the role of techno functional manager and Onsite coordinator.
    Provide technical guidance/solution to Client and design best solutions.
    Co-ordinate across different delivery tracks, resolve technical issues and drive important calls as and when required.
    Need to perform code reviews and guide developers on good coding practices.
    Perform relevant POCs and suggest digital transformations.
    Collaborate with DevOps and other stakeholders for deployment and releases.
    Assist the support team as and when needed and involve in important Production issues.

    Required:
    Very good experience (including hands-on/coding) in Java 8, Spring Boot, Microservices, Design Pattern, AWS, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
    Experience in Spring Cloud, Docker and container orchestration tools, ORM framework, knowledge on CI/ CD, Jenkins
    Should have excellent Client handling skills.
    Must have experience working with Offshore Team (Onsite-Offshore model) with good co-ordination skills.
    Experience in architecture design, solutioning and documentation for enterprise applications.
    Experience working in Agile methodology.
    Must have good analytical skills.
