- Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship training program in Colon and Rectal Surgery or Proctology
- Current certification in Colon and Rectal Surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Board certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.
- OR Current certification in Proctology by the American Osteopathic Board of Proctology or its equivalent. Board certification must be achieved within five years of being admissible to take the exam.

SIH is looking for a team player who is passionate about patient care and is personable. This opportunity gives you the ability to work closely with a team of trained physicians who put patient care first. Our position is both inpatient and outpatient, a split between General and Colorectal Surgery, and will also be responsible for assisting the team in completing colonoscopies. General surgery call schedule will be divided evenly among the team and surgery is on a block schedule. We have ANO Scopes and mechanical beds.
