    is looking for a

    Unified Communications Architect


    who will play a key role in providing senior-level technical support for all Voice over IP (VOIP) components within a enterprise.

    Position is on-site in

    Irvine, CA

    (1 day remote Monday or Friday) for a Financial Services organization. This is a Direct Hire, Non-Exempt, W2, and a Full Time position.


    Responsibilities:
    Administer and maintain telecommunications hardware, software, and networked peripherals.
    Conduct capacity planning and analysis to ensure our telecommunications strategy can support long-term growth of data and applications.
    Configure redundancy to ensure uninterrupted telecommunications services in the event of a failure.
    Implement new telecommunications technologies to meet business objectives.
    Collaborate with the Information Security group to incorporate technical and operational controls into telecommunication solutions.
    Follow ITIL and ITSM practices, completing assigned tickets within service level standards.
    Perform changes to the telecommunications environment under strict change control guidelines, ensuring minimal negative impact.
    Keep all support documentation current, including disaster recovery plans and voice communications procedures.
    Participate in ongoing maintenance, testing, and governance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
    Provide Tier 3 support for all voice infrastructure and applications.
    Mentor Telecom Engineers I/II.
    Other duties as assigned.


    Qualifications:
    7+ years of experience in the IT Telecom arena, VOICE/VOIP Engineering including significant Cisco-related voice experience.
    Occasional travel up to 30%.
    Active CCNP/CCIE Collaboration certification highly preferred.
    Solid understanding of routing and switching protocols in relation to IT Telecom/VOIP/VOICE.

    Strong working knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, Webex, Unity, UCCX Contact Center, E911, Voice Gateways, Call Recording, Voice gateways (MGCP/H323/SIP), SSO.

    Wants to be on track for to become an Architect within an organization.
    Financial Service Industry experience preferred.


    Expected Salary expectation:
    $93,000 to $140,000 (non-exempt) + 15% Discretionary Bonus, Standard Benefits, Education/Training Stipend, Paid Over Time, and 401k.
