    THE ROLE:
    Provides coordination and administration functions for Senior Friends and other Dementia Services Activities.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
    The following list identifies duties of the position. Job responsibilities will be prioritized in consultation with the Director of Senior Volunteer Services. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    Respond to client requests, schedule and perform client intakes to determine eligibility and enroll into Senior Friends Program.

    Supervise the onboarding of Senior Friend volunteers, which includes responding to volunteer requests, interviewing, and following up with background data.

    Coordinate and facilitate Senior Friends volunteer trainings as needed.
    Match volunteers with clients prioritizing companionship compatibility.

    Under the direction of the Director of Senior Volunteer Services, and as funding allows, plan and provide semi-annual volunteer recognition and continuing education.

    Manage volunteers by providing ongoing communication, problem solving, and data collection.
    Facilitate Dementia Services Activities such as, but not limited to, Memory Walks and Memory Cafes.

    This includes, but is not limited to, communicating dates and locations of events and cancellations, cheerfully leading the group in conversation and activities as appropriate, and providing general oversight.

    Supervise and manage the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers to assist with Dementia Services Activities as needed.
    Compile and maintain databases and hard copy files according to policies & procedures.
    Provide reports and statistics as needed for funders, program grant narratives, budgets, monitoring, and PQI.

    Attend outreach events such as speaking engagements with community partners, fairs, and membership organizations to increase Senior Friends recruitment of volunteers and clients, and represent overall LCSNW services.

    Maintain and update program material, updating and amending content as needed.
    Adhere to a high level of communication with program director, staff, volunteers, clients, and community partners.
    Supervise assigned office volunteers.
    Maintain program inventory and order supplies as necessary.
    Maintain quality and compliance standards.
    Perform other duties as needed and assigned by program director.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
    To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     Must have a driver's license and access to transportation with applicable insurance coverage and be willing to travel to Kitsap, Pierce and King Counties.

    EXPERIENCE:
    Associates degree

    2 years equivalent education

    . Administrative experience and good customer service required. Requires some familiarity with volunteering, community partners, and program support.
