Position Summary:
The Manager of Susie Beris MD Youth Running Programs is responsible for the oversight and execution of the highly regarded youth running programs. The manager will plan, coordinate and serve as the primary liaison for the program. Working closely with the President the program will expand its reach in 2026 and beyond. The manager will work with the partnership team to support fulfillment efforts throughout a sponsor's lifecycle. Support to include fulfillment tracking, reporting and partnership event planning. Additional duties are performed as assigned by the Race Director to support the overall success and growth of HMF events
Key responsibilities:
- Susie Beris MD Youth Running Programs & HMF Events
- Oversee all Susie Beris MD Youth Running programs and serve as the event director for youth events.
- Develop short and long term strategies to strengthen and expand programs in conjunction with leadership.
Attend and manage key areas at several HMF events.
Partnership Support
- Work in tandem with the partnership team to support established goals & initiatives.
- Manage the fulfillment of deliverables on all In-House sponsorship programs throughout the sponsorship lifecycle.
Prepare all deliverable documents and timelines, coordinate with internal departments as necessary.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Ability to work outside of regular business hours, including early morning and evening events
- 5+ years of youth or event services experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Google Workspace
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing and managing multiple projects.
- Reliability and accountability are a must.
- As a part of the Hartford Marathon Foundation team, all employees are expected to wear many hats and have the ability to grow and evolve as the organization does. Flexibility is essential.
