    Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist Role at Unity Point St. Luke's

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner/Hospitalist to join our team at Unity Point St. Luke's in Sioux City, IA.

    The ideal candidate will have one year of acute care experience in Hospitalist/inpatient work or be a strong new graduate with at least 4 years of RN experience in ER/Med Surg/ICU/Telemetry.

    About the Hospital

    • A 180-bed tertiary care and Level III Trauma center providing acute care services.
    • Access to all Medical sub-specialists, including Cardiology, EP, Interventional cardiology, GI, Hem Oncology, Nephrology, Pulmonary Critical care, Pediatric hospitalists, Dermatology, and Rheumatology.
    • Availability of all Surgical sub-specialists, except CT/Neurosurgery.
    • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system: Epic.

    Schedule and Staffing

    • 7-day on/off rotation, 12-hour shifts (1 Day and 1 Night position available).
    • Daytime staffed with 4 physicians and 2 NPs; nighttime staffed with 2 NPs.
    • Alternate weeks between ICU and Hospitalist coverage for Night Position.
    • Round on 14-15 patients and take admission call for 1 hour a day (1p-2p) for Day Position.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • $115-$135k per year, depending on experience, plus a $20k bonus for a 4-year commitment.
    • Full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, STD, LTD, and 401(k) plan.
