New Jersey Community Development Corporation
New Jersey Community Development Corporation is a multi-faceted community development and social service agency providing opportunities to transform lives in Passaic County. Hawthorne Supervised Apartments is a 24-hour supervised apartment program for adults with developmental disabilities.
We are seeking dynamic individuals to serve as Residence Counselors. The responsibilities include:
· Carrying out residence's program plan developed in connection with resident's goals, objectives and individual needs and preferences
· Ensuring the health and safety of residents
· Providing assistance to residents in meeting goals and objectives
· Properly maintaining program and consumer records
Prospective applicants must have BA in human services with one to three years of experience or a high school diploma with two to three years of experience in the human services field; good organizational skills; the ability to multi-task and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and a valid, clean NJ driver's license. Attractive salary and benefits package will be provided.
