- Prepare machinery for the start of shift, which includes necessary materials and paperwork.
- Find zero point, create spot sheets, and zone patch as necessary.
- Monitor finished products for quality standards.
- Complete simple, routine maintenance on machines to keep machine operational.
- Troubleshoot machinery for basic malfunctions and correct issues.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for machine operated.
- Clean machinery at the end of shift to prepare for next workday/shift.
- Clean and stock work area in preparation for next workday/shift.
- Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
- Safely perform physical demands as indicated below.
- Work overtime as needed to meet customers' needs.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to read a ruler and use a caliper
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer and mechanical abilities

Job DescriptionJob Summary: The primary responsibilities of the Flatbed/Platen (Bobst) Die Cutter are to maintain and operate the Bobst Die Cutting equipment including, but not limited to installing dies, lower cutting plates, stripping and/or blanking tooling. Must also be able to perform minor repairs to dies and other tooling. Must be able to do complete setups on new dies.
Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm M-F with overtime as needed
