BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department.We are offering a SIGN-ON BONUS for qualified CVT, LVT, RVT, LVMT, and VTS and experienced un-credentialed technicians
Schedule:
This is an overnight position.
50 / hour + a competitive shift differential
Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience** We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:
Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
Perform digital radiography using proper technique including proper positioning of patients.Have a complete understanding of normal ranges of patient vital signs, including but not limited to heart and respiratory rate, temperature, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.Properly calculate medical math (including constant rate infusions) and administer medications via appropriate routes and duration.
Are proficient at performing phlebotomy and placing intravenous catheters in all peripheral vessels.
Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
