    Summary

    The primary function of this position is to be the first point of contact for customers and visitors to Swanson Health Products. Responsible for answering incoming calls and directing calls and visitors appropriately. Provide information to the general public, visitors, vendors, and customers.

    Essential Responsibilities

    1. Greeting and welcoming guests: receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, and directing/announcing them appropriately.
    2. Process incoming phone calls: Be knowledgeable and courteous while assisting customers and transferring calls to appropriate departments for further assistance.
    3. Oversee general mail service, sorting and opening mail, delivering mail to the proper individuals/departments.
    4. Assist in various projects for members of the Leadership team as needed.
    5. Process general supply orders.
    6. Assist HR department with various administrative duties.
    7. Process employee orders.
    8. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
    9. Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP.
    10. Provide prompt and reliable attendance.

    Marginal Duties

    1. Process Fed Ex corporate mailings.
    2. Process product requests.
    3. Assist Customer Service team in processing mail orders.
    4. Maintain employee vehicle information.

    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
    • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
    • Experience with a multi-line phone system
    • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

    Education and Experience

    Front Desk/Receptionist experience and 1-3 years customer service experience OR combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above.
