    Senior Manager Finance Operations - Commercial Finance

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
    Act as internal consultant ensuring overall alignment within Finance NAM on key projects and topics.

    Provide direct support to the NAM Finance Senior Leadership Team by providing input and recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making.

    Manage & execute global and local strategic initiatives for Finance NAM. Identify, develop, implement, document, and continuously improve processes and standards within NAM Finance and its cross-functional partners.

    Further drive and align internal communication activities and initiatives within the Finance NAM function and drive team engagement topics across the department


    Key Responsibilities:
    Support Director Finance Operations with contributing to define the overall Finance NAM strategy and strategic priorities and ultimately drive alignment, execution, tracking and preparing presentations

    Work closely with NAM Fiance teams to collect and execute various initiatives, ultimately influencing and driving NAM Finance key initatives

    Advise and influence Finance senior management team in strategic planning and translating strategiesinto operational plans

    Lead Finance NAM project demand process including priority and resource management. Lead monitoring and reporting of project progress

    Drive key cross-functional projects for Finance NAM

    Effectively apply state-of-the-art project management methodologies and enforce project standards across Finance NAM

    Lead by example cross-functional collaboration & execution of deliverables within Finance NAM

    Support Global Finance Business Transformation Projects

    Serve as key contact point and act as an interface between different functions and different development locations to drive alignment and to ensure smooth operation of the business

    Drive and align communication (internal and external)

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Strong finance skills – track record of understanding financial and business systems/ processes and proactively engaging internal and external stakeholders to identify and define potential issues, opportunities and develop solutions creating value

    Knowledge of IFRS as well as complete understanding of financial statements and financial processes

    Good planning and organization skills, and ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines

    Understanding of the bigger picture and end-to-end processes

    Strong project management skills from initiation to closure (scoping, structuring, work planning, status reporting tools, management updates)

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing, to interact effectively and efficiently on different layers of the organization and to negotiate with internal and/or external parties with possible divergent interests and with different business areas

    Action oriented and solution minded team player

    Analytical mind-set, problem solver, innovative thinker, and a collaborator with ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions within an entrepreneurial environment

    High degree of self-management, enthusiasm, drive to perform

    Excellent English language proficiency

    Proficiency in project management related tools and software (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Aris)

    Deep analytical skills in order to analyze and present complex issues of strategic relevance

    Proven ability to lead across own area of direct responsibility to achieve results within wider organization

    Ability to effectively present information and respond to information requests from senior executives, stakeholders, cross functional business leaders, peers and customers

    Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA, CPA, CFA, CMA)

    8-10 years of broad-based finance experience with progressive responsibility in industry leading companies or banking environment

    International work experience preferred
