    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, EKG rhythms, and cardiac activity using telemetry equipment.
    2. Assessment and Documentation: Perform thorough assessments of patients' conditions, document observations, and maintain accurate medical records.
    3. Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
    4. Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other nurses, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
    5. Patient Education: Provide patients and their families with education on cardiac conditions, medications, and lifestyle modifications to promote optimal recovery and disease management.
    6. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, initiate appropriate interventions, and alert healthcare providers as necessary.
    7. Quality Care: Adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
    8. Technology Proficiency: Maintain proficiency in operating telemetry equipment and other medical devices used in cardiac monitoring.
    9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
    10. Ethical Practice: Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in patient care and interactions with colleagues.
    Qualifications:
    • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
    • BLS and ACLS certifications.
    • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with a focus on telemetry or cardiac care.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
    • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Certification in Telemetry Nursing (CTN).
    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Additional certifications related to cardiac care.

    Float Pool RN

    13 week assignment

    36 hrs

    12 hr nights

    BLS & ACLS certs

    SD or multi-state license

    1 yr of recent Tele experience required

    Must be willing to float to any Med Surg or Tele within their scope of practice
