    Description

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Works with Lead BIS Operations and Support - Global to develop support strategies and then implements solutions with best-in-class partners.
    • Ensures the team understands and complies with quality standards and regulatory requirements as per the global documented processes.
    • Evaluates performance of infrastructure environments to recommend changes to processor, memory, storage, workflows, operating systems, security products, patching, and licensing.
    • Recommends changes as it relates to the argenx global infrastructure environment to any hosted or proposed projects.
    • In partnership with our managed service provider, develops and maintains infrastructure documentation and knowledge base articles related to frequently asked questions and common incidents.
    • Ensures completion of IT infrastructure project requests by original completion date as determined and assigned during project planning or established service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Provides daily support guidance in the areas of infrastructure managed by our managed service providers.

    Technical Documentation:
    o Create detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

    o Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and outcomes.

    o Provide clear documentation for end-users and support teams to ensure proper system usage and troubleshooting.

    • Educate and train staff on information security best practices:
    o Conduct regular security awareness training sessions for employees.

    o Provide guidance on secure practices related to data handling, access control, and incident reporting.

    • Develop, execute, and track security measures:
    o Implement and monitor security protocols to protect information, network infrastructure, and computer systems.

    o Regularly assess the effectiveness of security measures and adjust as needed.

    o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to security incidents, response times, and system vulnerabilities.

    Collaborate with Business Partners:
    o Work closely with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements.

    o Identify and apply architectural patterns that align with business needs.

    Ensure Cloud Security and Privacy:
    o Monitor the company's cloud privacy in collaboration with BIS security.

    o ddress technical issues promptly and professionally.

    2 SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

    • Understanding of the industry landscape and global regulatory requirements (e.g. GxP, HIPAA. GDPR, etc.).
    • Proven work experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role
    • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
    • Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
    • Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
    • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Architect
    3 EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 8-10 years working either in a biopharmaceutical company or a consulting organization with focus on the life sciences sector.
    • Minimum 10 years working in a Infrastructure Support-oriented role coordinating multiple organizations and service-delivery partners.
    • Experience in the implementation of multi-partner support solutions to address the specific needs of life-sciences remote users.
    • Experience with stare-of-the-art remote hardware provisioning and configuration.
    • Experience with Okta IAM platform and administration.
