    Marathon TS is hiring a Linux Engineer to support our client in the San Antonio, TX area.

    This is a 100% remote role, and the best candidate will have a secret clearance and the following skills:

    • Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
    • Troubleshooting in Linux.
    • Logging and Auditing in Linux.
    • Automation of Linux and other application related processes with Jenkins, and Ansible.
    • Provide scripting an automation for Linux administration for automation.
    • Manually find and resolve Linux issues.
    • Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
    • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
    • Confer with others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
    • Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
    3 years' experience implementing, and troubleshooting Linux in an enterprise, secure environment.
    • Experience with a CI/CD platform, such as ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar technologies.
    • Strong knowledge in Linux patching with DNF and YUM.
