    We are seeking a "Technical Project Manager".
    This position is for IT consulting company. The end client is financial services.
    Title: Technical Project Manager (Network Infrastructure)

    • New York, NY (Hybrid at this moment, on-site 2-3 days a week)
    • Occasional weekend work
    • Salary Range: $110k - $125k
    • Start Date: Immediately
    Responsibilities:
    • Understand the overall project plan and assigned scope
    • Host any project and scope related meetings as needed or as requested
    • Communicate with providers and vendors and manage network implementation/upgrade/migration activities
    • Manage each release and report the progress and status to the program manager
    • Provide the overall project management documentation support including: create or update the project schedule/progress (with MS Project), create meeting agendas and minutes to keep track of the project activities, support creating/updating action item lists and issue lists, create a regular project status report, etc.
    • Create project document such as budget plan, project charter, business requirement document and release plan
    • Serve as a liaison for communications between the program manager and/or other project managers, as well as any internal/external technical parties as needed
    • Assist the appropriate parties to develop and update the technical contents of the release related documents or any technical documents
    • Navigate and resolve project roadblocks through effective collaboration with key stakeholders
    Requirement:
    • 5 to 7 years' experience managing large enterprise IT projects
    • Experience and good understanding of networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless, etc.)
    • Experience with technical project management in office relocation or network migration is preferred
    • Experience with Cisco based network projects is a plus
    • Ability to apply project management principles, processes and tools to effectively manage projects
    • Able to gather requirements from any area (end-user, engineering, operations, deployment etc.) and clearly communicate to all interested parties
    • Strong presentation skills for presenting to Senior Management
    • Very strong verbal and written communication in English
    • Able to work on-site at the client's office in New York city
