    In this role as a Product Specialist, Doctoring, you will play a critical role by working directly with our customers in the Pulp & Paper industry to help grow our market in performance parts and services. Our Doctoring services and technology affects machine runnability, paper and board quality, production costs, and production efficiency. Your industry knowledge and expertise will help move our customers' performance forward.

    Responsibilities

    • Establishes professional relationships with appropriate customer personnel such as Mill maintenance and reliability, purchasing, and production.
    • You will be responsible for growing our market in doctoring.
    • This role will require frequent customer visits involving consulting, selling and servicing Valmet doctoring parts and solutions.
    • You will help the customer identify their potential areas of improvement as it relates to these products in their production processes.
    • In this role, you will also roll your sleeves up and perform in mill services including paper machine audits, parts inventories, and other evaluations at assigned accounts.
    • The successful candidate will secure opportunities to quote on prospective agreements and obtain orders from existing and potential customers.
    • You will help provide a territory sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts, record call reports, and understand the market and competition.

As you'll be working closely with our customers throughout the U.S. geographical area, you will spend a large portion of your time traveling.
