    System One is assisting a Client in Hubbard, Ohio to fill the position of: Process Metallurgist Engineer.


    WILLING TO RELOCATE

    The Process Metallurgist Engineer will work under the Quality Manager to identify andoperational problems and defining standard operating procedures, to meet manufacturing and business requirements.

    Monitor all samples and determine metal specifications such as structure and composition. Maintains calibration certificates on all lab equipment and measurement devices. Provide trainings to quality techs. Involved in the development and revision of Quality Standards. Participate in general process improvements and initiatives. Maintains the QMS; i.e. ISO and AS systems. Perform gage R&R's, support MSA system. Conducts investigation and disposition of non-conforming material. Perform failure investigations on customer returns/claims. Maintain all metallurgical process and prepare appropriate reports for all investigations. Provide support to all manufacturing department and assist in analyzing various materials.

    Maintains safe and healthy work environment by defining and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; Abides by company policies and procedures.


    What You'll Need:
    BS degree in Metallurgical/Material engineering, related field or equivalent work experience; (Master's Degree Preferred)

    Experience in melting operations with 2-5 years process and procedures development ISO Quality system experience Metallurgical testing experience (chemistry, sample prep, etc.) Skills and Abilities Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing methods and procedures; Document Control; Problem solving and analysis including DOE, regression analysis; ASQ
    • CQE or SSBB a plus; Collaboration and teamwork; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Proactive as well as detail and results oriented with strong desire to succeed; Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to plan, organize and prioritize; High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Syteline experience a plus; Ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level, along with possessing integrity and trust;Willingness and ability to work outside of normal work hours; Ability to travel regionally and nationally occasionally (10 25%); reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
