This job posting is for an Electrical Engineering Technician Specialist I role at GAC Savannah. Unique Skills:

This position is for an Electrical Engineering Technician located in Savannah. Prior experience in AutoCAD and Cabin electrical systems is highly valued, while familiarity with Capital Harness is a plus.

Education and Experience Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree is necessary, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to effectively carry out the key responsibilities of this role. You should have at least 5 years in a specific technical discipline or 10 years of diverse engineering experience across multiple technical disciplines with a Bachelors's degree. Additional experience credit can be given for relevant advanced degrees, limited to 2 years for a Masters's degree and 4 years for a PhD in fields applicable to this position.

Position Purpose: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of design, analysis, and liaison engineering activities that support the development and manufacturing of Gulfstream products and services.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:

• Contribute to the planning, development, and coordination of significant engineering projects.
• Provide specialized technical support to team members.
• Utilize advanced techniques and innovative problem-solving skills to address a wide range of complex issues.
• Develop unique approaches to problem-solving while adhering to schedule and cost constraints.
• Operate under minimal supervision, with only essential work requiring review to ensure alignment with overarching objectives.
• Serve as a communication link with external parties outside of the designated group/area.

Additional Functions:

• Actively engage in enhancing daily processes and verify that all work meets customer specifications.
• Stay updated on advancements in the specialty field of engineering and other relevant aircraft sectors to propose enhancements that can elevate the quality and efficiency of the company's offerings.
• Perform any other tasks as delegated.

Other Requirements:

• An advanced engineering-related degree is preferred.
• The level of technical expertise and competencies required for this position will be determined by each specific discipline.
