    Job Description

    As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Gatehouse in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel while delivering a people-first customer experience.     What You'll Do:

    • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
    • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
    • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
    • Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials when required, and documenting visitor and contractor activity per site policy.
    • Complete detailed reports on security-related incidents, patrol observations, and unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through a visible presence and timely reporting.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
    • Customer service experience is preferred.
    • Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
    • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
    • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
    • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
    • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
    • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
