Job description
This opportunity involves providing speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in the Oklahoma City area. The position is onsite only, with no speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs) utilized, creating a direct and hands-on role. The caseload primarily includes elementary students, numbering between 30 and 40, and collaborative work alongside another SLP at one to two elementary schools.
This role offers flexibility with either full-time or part-time schedules, making it adaptable to individual availability. Candidates should be prepared to assist in managing and catching up on evaluations, making this a great match for someone with a strong organizational approach and clinical skills. Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with appropriate state licensure for practice in Oklahoma
- Experience or willingness to support an elementary school caseload
- Ability to complete timely speech and language evaluations to help the school catch up on current needs
- Willingness to work onsite at assigned school locations
- Strong collaborative skills to work alongside another SLP effectively
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time as needed
Location:
- Onsite positions in the Oklahoma City area, within one to two elementary schools
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide individualized therapy services to elementary students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30-40 students
- Coordinate with fellow SLP to ensure comprehensive coverage and support
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of services and progress
