    Description
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

    Leads the compilation of and analyzes financial information, so as to prepare monthly closing entries to general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions.

    Identify trends, control deficiencies, or improvement opportunities and formulate action plans as appropriate.

    Compiles, analyzes, and interprets financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital expenditures, and prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, statements of cash flow, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.

    Formulate action plans from interpreted data where required.
    Responsible for the monthly consolidation of income statements, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

    Ensure accurate reporting and presentation of information complies with GAAP.Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts including balancing to sub-ledgers where indicated (A/P, A/R, and Inventory).

    Perform monthly review of the trial balance.
    Manages treasury functions by maintaining appropriate cash balances in operating bank accounts. Recommends and initiates cash transfers necessary to fund daily operations.

    This role is also responsible for the management of the corporate credit card program as well as the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll functions.

    Responsible for cash management reporting to the CFO. Duties also include analysis of bank fees and recommendations to minimize those fees.
    Organizes and performs Bank Reconciliations on a monthly basis.

    Responsible for management of financial audit and accuracy of the final Audited Financial ReportsMay assist with data requirements related to annual insurance renewals.

    Review the companys business activities on a regular basis to ensure the company stays in compliance with all federal, state, and local income and sales tax compliance regulations.

    Other projects and ad-hoc requests as required.
    Complies with safety and GMP requirements.
    Other duties as assigned.

    ExperienceRequired5 year(s): Supervisory or management level experience10 year(s): Combined experience in accounting and controller related dutiesPreferredExperience in a manufacturing environment, working with an ERP system, and prior cost accounting experience are all strongly preferred.

    A solid background in technology including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, business intelligence software, ERP, FAS, etc. is highly desirable.
    Strong analytical skills, critical strategic thinking, problem solving, and reasoning abilities are required.
