    **Transportation Drivers**

    Whether you are a seasoned professional or a weekend warrior, there are opportunities at High Mountain Expeditions that can open up a whole new world of adventure. From the rush of spring waters on rivers throughout the World to relaxed river tubing on pristine mountain rivers, our guides lead the way deep into some of the most magnificent landscapes on earth. Since 1986, High Mountain Expeditions has set the first-class standard for adventure travel vacations and our ongoing pursuit of excellence is based on providing superior service to our guests.

    **Transportation Drivers Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Drive shuttle vehicles to and from the river and other destinations

    Maintain vehicles in a neat and clean manner

    Entertain guests

    Seek to provide our guests with the best outdoor experience of their lives

    Use computers to check availability and record reservations accurately

    Present facts about the regions natural and human history

    Provide a positive role model for children and facilitate kid-friendly activities

    Prepare delicious meals

    Care for High Mountain Expeditions equipment

    Adhere to Seven Principles of Leave No Trace at all times

    Be a steward of the natural areas in which we travel

    **Transportation Drivers Qualifications:**

    Must provide a DOT driving record annually

    DOT regulations require a physical exam & drug testing of all qualified applicants

    CPR and First-Aid Certified (WFR/SWR are a plus)

    Customer service experience or superb people skills

    Experience or willingness to work with young children and adolescents

    Physically fit

    Team player

    Excellent communication skills

    Fluent English

    Non-Smoker

    Creative approach to problem-solving

    Basic computer knowledge
